Prerequisites

How to Enable Command Blocks in Java Edition

  1. Open your game panel and navigate to the Files section.
  2. Find the server.properties file and click its name to open it.
  3. Locate the line enable-command-block=false.
  4. Change false to true, then click Save and Upload.
  5. Restart your server to apply the changes.

You have now enabled command blocks on your Minecraft Java Edition server!

Note: Command blocks require appropriate permissions on your server. Ensure your server settings are configured correctly if you encounter issues.


How to Enable Command Blocks in Bedrock Edition

  1. Log in to your game panel and go to the Files section.
  2. Find and open the server.properties file.
  3. Locate the line allow-command-blocks=false.
  4. Change false to true and save the file.
  5. Restart your server to apply the changes.

Command blocks are now enabled on your Bedrock Edition server!
